Planning - using garage band

SUMMARY
HOW TO USE GARAGE BAND

By clicking on the small guitar icon on the bottom left of the apple mac you have entered the Garage Band app and can start to create your own soundscape, but first you must select new project and movie mode.

On your screen you will get a very similar layout as you would if you were editing a film. On your right you will have all the different for you to use, once you have selected your sound you click, drag and drop it on the first line.

- Turn metro note off by the small icon second right of the timer.

To expand the sound you have chosen to make it longer you place your arrow over it, wait for the loop to appear, hold and drag for the length you want.

To add more sounds, select the sound you want and drag under the previous sound.

- You can search by select the Instrument tab on the right and add on in the same way as you've previously done to create a soundscape.

To turn sound down... On the left is an individual control panel for each sound, the bottom icon controls the sound.

- Track volume alters the sound between the points (for a fade in and/or fade out).

To export - Share, export song to disk, select where to save.
