Evaluation

How easy or difficult was it to create a the title credits? It was quite easy, did not require any complicated tasks to be done. The application Final Cut Pro had clear instructions and a clear layout, which made it easy to understand. All that was needed to be done was select the text tool then a type of frame which we wanted to place it onto.

What decisions did you make when deciding on the font, typeface and size of titles? We decided that we wanted the font to be simple yet dramatic, as it is a teen drama. We wanted to be able to foreshadow drama through the text to reinforce the genre.

How successful is your choice of font? Does it suit the tone of the film? .............................

How successful were you in the placement of title credits so they fit the action that we see? Are the titles 'integrated' or contrasting? It was not very successful as it did not contrast much and we haven't fully gotten a grasp of how to use FCP. Now that we are more fluent with it, we should be able to contrast texts with moving footage.

If you were to complete this tasks again, what would you do differently? I would include more effects such as highlighting texts to a certain colour to make it contrast the moving footage, also; i would make it seem more professional by re-sizing the font, making it more readable as there were some parts that could barely be seen.
